This hand-made washi is crafted with a thickness and texture for each piece using the artisan’s intuition. Demanding precision because it passes through multiple printing processes, this project has evolved through trial and error to be applied to the massive production lots of Western-style spirits. From 1989 to the present, various label materials have been produced utilizing both old and new techniques, spanning the globe as the face of Japanese whisky.
